School of Engineering



Introduction

The School of Engineering aims to be a School of choice for school leavers; known for its creativity and innovation. Besides institutional-based training, students are encouraged to attend industry attachment programmes both locally and overseas, for them to experience the real work life environment and become a technically competent workforce.

Key Focus

The strategic focus for the School of Engineering is to provide technologically up-to-date and relevant pre-employment training programmes to equip school leavers with the knowledge and skills to prepare them for jobs in the engineering service and manufacturing related industries.
Programmes include niche courses such as Aerospace Technology, Aerospace Avionics, Marine Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Design and Mechatronics (Medical Technology).
