Experience ITE Programme

The Experience ITE Programme (EIP) is a 1½ -day learning adventure for selected secondary school students.
A joint initiative with the Ministry of Education (MOE), it is:
  • compulsory for Secondary Two (2) Normal Technical Students and,
  • optional for Secondary Three (3) Normal Academic Students.
The Normal Technical curriculum focuses more on practice-oriented learning to better match their learning profiles like computer applications and technical studies. This also provides them with a firmer foundation and better alignment to continue their education at ITE.
Students in the programme will get to experiment with a series of hands-on projects that are related to the 4 Schools in ITE College Central, so that they can better appreciate the integration and inter-relationship of these core functions towards a common goal attainment, be it a product or service provision.

They will also gain a better comprehension of the courses offered so as to aid them in making informed choices for their future pursuit of post-secondary education.
EIP is specially designed for students to experience ITE and discover how a "Hands-on, Minds-on, Hearts-on" ITE education can help them advance their careers. Students will be provided the opportunities to try out a variety of fun hands-on projects, engage in a co-curricula activity (CCA) and embark on a guided campus tour. While challenging their creativity, these projects will help them understand the application of the skills and knowledge that our ITE students learn.

The integration of the CCA activity and campus tour provides them with a holistic experience of our exciting campus learning environment, as well as see for themselves the wide range of CCAs and student facilities available to our ITE students.
